Do I need to download an app?
No. Everything runs through text messages. If you can text, you can use this. There's nothing to download, no website to log into.
What if a customer calls instead of texts?
Text booking is included in your $25/mo plan. We also offer a call handling add-on that forwards calls to your phone and transcribes voicemails to text — ask us about it after you're set up.
Can a booking sneak onto my calendar without me knowing?
Never. Every booking request comes to your phone first. You reply OK to confirm or PASS to skip it. You're always in control.
What happens if two customers try to book the same time?
The system holds the slot for the first customer instantly. The second customer automatically gets offered your next opening. No double-booking, ever.
I already have a Google Calendar with jobs on it. Will this mess it up?
Nope. Your Dispatch bookings sync to your existing calendar automatically. You'll see everything in one place. And we can read your calendar to avoid double-booking you.
What if I need to block off time or take a day off?
Text your number "block tomorrow" or "block Friday 2-5pm." That's it. Customers won't be offered those times. You can also ask things like "what can I do?" and it'll walk you through everything.
What if I don't know what to text?
Just ask. Text your number "help" or "what can I do?" and you'll get a rundown of everything — checking your schedule, blocking time, confirming jobs, referrals, all of it. It's like having a conversation, not memorizing commands.
Is there a contract?
No. $25/mo, cancel whenever you want. You can literally text CANCEL and you're done. We don't hold your money or your data hostage.
