Privacy Policy

Who we are

South Side Dispatch is a product of South Side Home Services, LLC, based in Chicago, Illinois. We provide an SMS-based scheduling service for home service tradespeople and their customers.

What we collect

We keep as little data as possible:

• Tradespeople: Phone number, name, trade type, business name, working hours, service area ZIP codes, and subscription status.
• Customers: Phone number only. We do not collect names, email addresses, or physical addresses beyond what is shared in the text conversation.
• Conversations: Message routing data (who texted whom, when). Full message content is stored by Twilio under their privacy policy, not in our database.
• Payments: Processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers. We retain only the Stripe customer ID for subscription management.

How we use your data

• To schedule and confirm appointments
• To send booking notifications to tradespeople
• To manage tradesperson subscriptions
• To generate calendar feeds for tradespeople
• To occasionally inform you about new features, add-on services, or tools offered by South Side Home Services that may be relevant to your business

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing purposes. Any promotional messages we send will be infrequent, clearly labeled, and you can opt out at any time by replying STOP.

Third-party services

• Twilio — SMS delivery and message storage. See Twilio's Privacy Policy.
• Stripe — Payment processing. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Anthropic (Claude) — AI conversation processing. Messages are processed in real time and not retained by Anthropic for training.

SMS messaging

South Side Dispatch communicates primarily via automated SMS text messages. By texting START to our signup number (708) 960-1680, you consent to receive automated text messages from South Side Dispatch by South Side Home Services, LLC. Message frequency varies based on your usage and booking activity. Message and data rates may apply — check with your carrier for details.

Opting out

Text STOP to any South Side Dispatch number at any time to stop receiving messages. Text HELP for assistance. Tradespeople can cancel their subscription at any time and their data will be deleted within 30 days.

Data retention

Booking data is retained for 90 days after completion, then automatically deleted. Tradesperson account data is retained while the subscription is active and deleted 30 days after cancellation.
