Terms of Service

The service

South Side Dispatch (“the Service”) is an SMS-based scheduling platform operated by South Side Home Services, LLC (“we”, “us”). The Service provides tradespeople with a dedicated phone number that handles customer booking inquiries via text message. Tradespeople sign up by texting START to (708) 960-1680.

For tradespeople (subscribers)

• The Service costs $25 per month, billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time.
• Upon subscribing, you receive a dedicated local phone number. This number is leased, not owned — it remains our property and is released if you cancel.
• You are responsible for confirming or declining booking requests sent to your phone. We are not liable for missed or unconfirmed bookings.
• You are responsible for the quality and delivery of services you provide to customers booked through the platform.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that generate excessive spam complaints or violate messaging regulations.

For customers (texting a booking line)

• By texting a South Side Dispatch number, you consent to receive automated text messages from South Side Dispatch by South Side Home Services, LLC related to your booking inquiry. Message frequency varies.
• Message and data rates may apply. Check with your carrier for details.
• Text STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. Text HELP for assistance.
• We facilitate scheduling only. The tradesperson, not South Side Dispatch, is responsible for the service they provide.

Messaging terms

• Message frequency varies based on your interaction. Booking confirmations typically involve 3–8 messages per conversation.
• Most messages are transactional (related to scheduling). We may occasionally send messages about new features, add-on services, or tools from South Side Home Services that are relevant to your business. These will be infrequent and clearly identified.
• You can opt out of promotional messages at any time by replying STOP. Opting out of promotional messages will not affect your transactional booking messages.
• Message and data rates may apply. Check with your carrier for details.

Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. SMS delivery depends on carrier networks and Twilio's infrastructure, which are outside our control. We are not liable for missed messages, delayed deliveries, or service outages.

Limitation of liability

South Side Dispatch is a scheduling tool, not a contractor or service provider. We are not responsible for the quality, timeliness, or outcome of any work performed by tradespeople using the platform. Our total liability is limited to the fees you've paid us in the preceding 3 months.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify subscribers via text message. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
